I'm Charles. I'm not from Silicon Valley and I don't have a PhD in machine learning. What I do have is years of experience helping small businesses figure out technology — and a genuine obsession with finding the right AI tools for the right problems.
I started Call Charles because I kept seeing the same pattern: small business owners knew AI could help them, but they were drowning in options, paralyzed by jargon, and frustrated by tools that didn't live up to the hype.
The enterprise world has armies of consultants helping them adopt AI. Small businesses? They're mostly on their own, trying to figure it out between running their actual business. That felt wrong to me.
So I built a practice focused exclusively on helping small businesses — the bookkeepers, the dentists, the contractors, the real estate agents — figure out which AI tools will actually save them time and money. Then I set everything up and make sure it works.
My approach
Practical over theoretical
I recommend tools you'll actually use, not impressive demos you'll forget about.
Honest about limitations
If AI can't solve a problem, I'll tell you. I'd rather lose a sale than waste your money.
Business first, tech second
I start with your goals and work backward to the tools — not the other way around.
You own everything
No proprietary systems, no lock-in. Everything I build for you is yours to keep and maintain.
What I don't do
I don't build custom AI models. If you need a custom machine learning system, you need an engineering firm. I work with existing tools and platforms.
I don't sell software. I have no partnerships with or commissions from any tool company. My recommendations are unbiased.
I don't promise magic. AI is powerful, but it's a tool — not a miracle. I'll always be straight with you about what's realistic.
I don't work with enterprises. My sweet spot is businesses with 1-50 employees. If you have a 500-person IT department, you don't need me.
